Country+Community
‘Connecting with the past, responding to the present to create a beautiful future for all’
Public art and placemaking connects Community. Thats why it’s so important in our design process. is the Community within which it will be.
In this role with mili mili work hand in hand with Community and clients. We don’t consult, we collaborate – we listen, yarn, walk, workshop/co-create, and integrate Continuing Custodians’ stories into the experience of Country.
We are then able to share learnings with stakeholders and clients to ensure sensitivity, inclusion of Community and the integration of First Nation knowledge into the project.
